At Udney Park Management Limited, we are committed to managing the Udney Park ex-Imperial College Sports Ground in Teddington. Our goal is to renovate the sports ground and collaborate closely with the surrounding community to ensure it is put to optimal use.
Udney Park is a historic park located in Teddington, a suburban town in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The park was originally part of the Udney Hall estate, which was built in the late 18th century for John Udney, a wealthy merchant and art collector.
The Udney Hall estate was later acquired by Imperial College London in 1947, which used the grounds as a sports ground for its students and staff. In 2016, Imperial College sold the Udney Park sports ground to the Udney Park Management Limited, a private company, which now manages the property.
Over the years, Udney Park has served as a popular destination for various sports and recreational activities, including local clubs like Teddington Rugby Football Club and Teddington Athletic Football Club. Recently, the park changed hands and was sold to our client in 2022 after previously being owned by Quantum Group since 2015.
